Flameproof Air Warmers for Hazardous Area Heating

EXHEAT FWD flameproof air warmers provide hazardous area certified heating and air warming for Zone 1, Zone 2 (Flammable Gas) Zone 21 and Zone 22 (Dust) hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.

The EXHEAT FWD range is designed to provide an air warming solution for small work or storage areas and can be provided with temperature ratings of T2, T3 and T4 (T Classes) – suitable for proving electrical heating in hazardous area zones with ambient temperatures from -60ºC to +60ºC

The FWD range of flameproof air warmers are certified to meet ATEX equipment directive and IECEx standards and are suitable for wall or floor mounting.

• Certified to ATEX, IECEx, CU TR (EAC) and KGS hazardous area classifications
• Fabricated carbon steel enclosure weatherproof to IP66
• Temperature classes T2, T3 and T4 available
• Heater suitable for horizontal floor or wall mounting
• 2 × 20mm (plugged) cable entries provided as standard
• Corrosion resistant powder coated finish
• T3 / T4 Class heaters suitable for ambient temperatures from 60°C to +40°C and T2 units to +60°C
• Individual heating elements can be replaced
