Amphenol Rig-Power connectors are cylindrical, metal, complete coupling in one turn single pole power connectors featuring RADSOK® Technology for use in hazardous areas.
RADSOK® high amperage contact technology uses the high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. Amphenol offer VFD rated single pin connectors in the Star-Line and Star-Line EX series.
The Rig-Power range of plugs and sockets is rated for use up to 1000V AC/DC, is field repairable, requires low insertion and removal forces and features the smallest hardware footprint in the industry. The range includes plugs and cable receptacles with a mechanical clamp as well as panel mounted receptacles, all with contact configurations available from 313MCM to 777.
