Eltherm‘s Ex-Box LIM/DIS Limiter is an electronic Heat Trace Limiter, designed for shutting down the connection electrical trace heating with last effect in case of overheating risks. Applicable for frost protection, temperature maintenance, silos, containers, tanks, pipelines, valves and pumps, the Eltherm Heat Trace Limiter is suitable for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex Certified), as well as indoor our outdoor use.
The Ex-Box LIM/DIS features an integrated control panel with display and an integrated bus interface, which can be used for programming and operation. The interface of the Trace Heating Limiter allows for central evaluation and parametrisation in the measurement control station, with simultaneous decentralised use of the Ex Box Heat Trace Limiter locally on the corresponding heating circuits.

Eltherm Ex-Control Controller Pad For Ex-Box LIM/LED
Eltherm‘s intrinsically safe hand-held controller pad is designed as an additional safety accessory, for use with the LED Ex-Box Heat Trace Limiters and Thermostats range in hazardous areas/explosive atmospheres. The Ex-Control Hand-Held Controller Pad acts as a safer solution to parametrise and query parameters of the REG/LED and LIM/LED Ex-Box devices.
The Eltherm Ex-Control detects the connected device and automatically activates the corresponding software. Ex-Control doesn’t include its own power supply, which is supplied by the connected devices.
