ASCO 553 solenoid valves are compact spool valves with single and dual solenoid constructions available. In addition unique designs are available that combine hard T-seals and flexible o-rings.

The ASCO 553 provides resistance to dirt and multi-million cycle life controlling air or inert gas and low power and Intrinsically safe constructions are available.

Low power and intrinsically safe construction are available along with an integral breather block vents to spring side of actuator to exhaust.

The unique design of the ASCO 553 solenoid valves provides bubble-tight shutoff, resistance to dirt and multimillion cycle life controlling air or inert gas.

ASCO solenoid valves (2-way, 3-way and 4-way type including NAMUR interfaces) control the critical flow of air, gas, water, oil and steam across all industries – hazardous area solenoid valves are available for Division and Zone classifications.

Class I, Division 2 and Zone 1/Zone 2 approved solenoid valves according to ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA and UL are available. Flameproof and explosion-proof valves can be specified for potentially explosive atmospheres where there is a presence of flammable liquids, gases or vapours.
