ASCO 308 Solenoid Valves – 1/4 – 3/8 Brass No Voltage Release, Lever Operated Pilot Valve

ASCO 308 solenoid valves are 3/2 way no voltage release (lever type), manual reset construction pilot operated solenoid valves.

ASCO 308 Solenoid Valves features

• Stainless steel or brass bodied valves with stainless steel internal parts
• Lever type Manual Reset function which means that the valve has to be energized as well as manually operated before it stays in the “latched” position
• The No Voltage Release (NVR) function will make sure that the valve trips when de-energized
• No minimum operating pressure required for valve
• Differential Pressure : 0 – 17 bar [1 bar = 100kPa]
• Maximum viscosity: 65cST (mm2 /s)
• Response Times : 75 – 100 ms

ATEX & IECEx valves are available using ASCO 308 solenoids approved to EN 13463-1 for hazardous area applications.

EXPLANATION OF TEMPERATURE RANGE

Valve Temperature Range : the temperature range (TS) of the solenoid valve is determined by the selected sealing material, the temperature range for proper operation of the valve and according to the fluid (eg steam).

Operator Ambient Temperature Range : determined by power level and safety code.

Total Temperature Range : the total temperature of the solenoid valve is determined by both the limitations of the above.
