Patol 5000 Heat Sensors – Infrared IR Transit Conveyor Heat Sensors

Patol 5000 heat sensors are part of the heat and flame sensor range of infrared conveyor heat sensors – providing reliable and accurate detection of heat spots, preventing fire and the ignition of combustible materials.

Patol 5000 heat sensors include a range of early warning infrared transit heat sensors. These are designed to monitor and detect ‘hot spots’ in the presence of ambient light as well as embers from materials such as coal, biomass or recycled materials.

With a single point sensor with 90° field of view, the Patol 5000 heat sensor can monitor the full width of the conveyor and will detect and trigger at ‘hot spot’ temperatures as low as 100˚C.

The unique solar blind sensor with infrared reflective cone optical focus has been created to detect moving black heat with a spectral response between 5 to 14 µm (wide band).
