Eaton MEDC SL5 are ATEX status lights manufactured in GRP, with a high ingress protection and high light output, which have been designed to suit various offshore and onshore applications in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.  A wide range of hazardous area status lights are available to order from Thorne & Derrick, to suit individual requirements and applications.

All ATEX status lights can be supplied as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 way, and are suitable for use in potentially Explosive Atmospheres and areas with harsh environmental conditions

These hazardous area status lamps have been designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions such as those found offshore and onshore in the petrochemical industries in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

Available as LED and xenon ATEX beacons – the SL5 range of hazardous area status lights are manufactured in stainless steel.

A long life, high intensity, LED version is now available.

The enclosures are suitable for use offshore or onshore where light weight combined with corrosion resistance is required and can be ordered from Thorne & Derrick with MEDC call points for integration into fire detection systems in the explosive atmosphere industries.

The weatherproof ATEX status light, with explosion protection concept Ex e(m), can be painted to customers specification and supplied with identification labels. The lights are also close-coupled and pre-wired to customer’s requirements
