The EXHEAT AFT40 hazardous area thermostat is a heavy-duty hazardous area thermostat designed to control electric heating systems in Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments where explosive gas or vapour may be present.
Fully certified to ATEX and IECEx standards, this thermostat offers safe and precise temperature control in critical industrial applications. The AFT40 provides a simple and effective method of local temperature regulation for EX-rated heaters used in oil & gas, petrochemical, and chemical processing industries.
The EXHEAT AFT40 thermostat is supplied in a weatherproof or explosion proof enclosure to compliment the range of hazardous area air warmers and have an externally adjustable option enabling quick and accurate variable control for air heating applications.
Hazardous area thermostat has a lightweight cast aluminium enclosure certified weatherproof to IP6X and suitable for ambient temperatures from -60°C to +60°C.
