Nelson Heat Trace CLT self-regulating trace heating cables provide process temperature maintenance and frost protection to pipework, instrument lines, tanks and drums up to 85ºC.   • Nelson CLT3-JT Self-Regulating Trace Heating Cable is a parallel circuit, electric heater strip
  • An irradiation cross-linked conductive polymer core material is extruded over multi-stranded, tin-plated, 18-gauge copper bus wires
  • A conductive core can increase or decrease its heat output in response to changes in temperature
  • Two jackets provide moisture resistance, extra dielectric strength and protection from damage due to impact or abrasion
  • The thermoplastic, elastomer over jacket is extruded over the inner jacket
  • A stranded copper braid covers the second jacket to provide a continuous ground path
  • A standard option UV stabilized polyolefin over jacket is available to cover the braid for use in wet areas
