The Inteliheat 2D/Z1 ATEX drum heating jacket is ideal for drum heating applications within Zone 1 & Zone 2 hazardous area applications for plastic or steel 205 litre drums.
The Inteliheat 2D/Z1 heating jacket is constructed from custom elastomer and silicone coated glass cloth with a high density fibreglass insulation with a heating element within the jacket. Inteliheat drum heating jackets utilise a patented technology of carbon rich semi-conducting positive temperature coefficient membranes.
The ATEX drum heating jacket ensures safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases and no transformers are required as the Inteliheat 2D/Z1 operates using standard AC supply voltages up to 240V.
The Inteliheat 2D/Z1 is ideal for frost protection and temperature maintenance, the efficiency of the heating jacket can be improved by using an insulated lid to reduce heat loss from the container and improve heating times. For faster heat up times and to be able to melt solids which require high temperature the Thermosafe ATEX Induction Heater is recommended.
