DSN1 Marechal Plugs, Sockets & Decontactors are designed to be compact and waterproof, with an integrated switch for use in industrial applications. The DSN1 Marechal Decontactor offers a rated current of 20A and a maximum voltage of 500V, as well as being compliant with IP66, IP67 & IP69 protection ratings when connected. In conjunction with this, when the plug & socket outlet lid is closed, it is watertight sealed, providing maximum protection in wet or dusty environments.
A “Decontactor” Plug & Socket, typically used in industrial settings/hazardous areas (ATEX & IECEx), features an integrated power switch for safe connection and disconnection of electrical equipment. The integrated load-break switch, allows for safe disconnection when under a full load, which is crucial when carrying out maintenance or repairs. The socket outlet installation is designed to be completely safe, with no risk of electrical hazards, guaranteeing operating speed and time efficiency.
The Marechal DSN1 Plugs, Sockets & Decontactors have an incorporated breaking capacity of AC-22 / AC-23 and are equipped with impact resistant GRP casing. The DSN1 also features a safety shutter (socket IP4X/IPXXD), silver-nickel butt contacts and metallic braid to comply with international standards.
