Technor’s EV HID is a wellglass Ex d lighting fixture suitable for hazardous area lighting and offers offers Ex-e IIC mode of protection and are suitable for indoor and outdoor hazardous areas of industrial plants where narrow or wide beam lighting is required.

Technor EV HID wellglass lighting is classified to international hazardous area classifications with ATEX, IECEx and TRCU certification, with ingress protection IP66 and an operational ambient temperature range of -52°C to +60°C.

Technor EV HID wellglass lighting fixtures are designed to house built-in control gears for high intensity discharge lamps, mercury vapour, metal halide and high pressure sodium; light source can be driven where required by way of suitable reflectors. The body of the EV HID wellglass is constructed from aluminium with a low content of copper, providing corrosion resistance and a lamp compartment made from tempered glass.

Technor EV HID Lighting – EVde Version

EVde version, with integrated Ex e junction box, allows end users and contractors the possibility to save one junction box, two cable glands and a minimum of 30 minutes of labour during installation process. This version is supplied complete with an adjustable AISI304 stainless steel mounting bracket suitable for ceiling, wall and suspension installation.

(NA) High Pressure Sodium

** In case of maximum ambient temperature reach +60°C, temperature class changes into T4/T135°C (ordering code to be required)
In case of maximum ambient temperature reach +40°C, temperature class changes into T6/T85°C (ordering code to be required)

(HG) Mercury Vapour

*In case of maximum ambient temperature reaches +40°C and except for light/bulb oriented on top (topward), temperature class changes into T4 (ordering code to be required)
Notes:
– Below -20°C, the mercury vapour light can be used, providing they are switched on 24 hours a day
– Mercury vapour light bulb is not included (banned by the European Community)

(IM) Metal Halide

* In case of maximum ambient temperature reaches +40°C and except for light/bulb oriented on top (topward), temperature class changes into T4 (ordering code to be required).
Below -20°c, the metal halide light can be used, providing they are switched on 24 hours a day

EVCC version, without integrated Ex e junction box, allows standard ceiling installation.
