MEDC XB12 Hazardous Area Beacon

MEDC XB12 are ATEX beacons that have a high output (21 Joule) specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

The marine grade alloy or stainless steel enclosures are suitable for use offshore or onshore, where lightweight combined with corrosion resistance and strength is required, and can be ordered from Thorne & Derrick with MEDC call points for integration into fire detection systems in the explosive atmosphere industries.

The XB12 ATEX beacon housing is manufactured completely from a UV stable, glass reinforced polyester

The high output hazardous area Xenon beacon with explosion protection concept Ex d can be painted to customer specification and supplied with identification labels.
