High flow – Up to 60% higher flow rate than similar competitor valves
Long life – The floating PTFE diaphragm provides positive sealing, improved durability and up to four times longer product lifespan than other valves. The ASCO 220 solenoid valves is capable of:
- 1,000,000 cycles on hot water and 50 psi steam
- 500,000 cycles on 125 psi steam
Improved serviceability – The threaded bonnet is easy to remove in order to perform quick inspection and servicing.
Lower power – The smaller operator reduces energy consumption on 5 PSI differential pressure applications.
DC constructions – Quiet design that works with 0 PSI differential pressure on hot water and up to 50 PSI steam
Inventory reduction – There is one valve for both steam and hot water.

area solenoid valves are available for Division and Zone classifications.
Class I, Division 2 and Zone 1/Zone 2 approved solenoid valves according to ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA and UL are available. Flameproof and explosion-proof valves can be specified for potentially explosive atmospheres where there is a presence of flammable liquids, gases or vapours.
ASCO valves improve reliability and performance of safety systems according to IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) – ASCO spool valves with SILÂ 4 capability are SAEL listed as assessed by Exida and TÃœV.
